Preparation of raw materials

Limestone (calcium carbonate) is extracted using drilling and blasting techniques. Limestone, mixed with required proportions of mineral components , sand, clay, hematite or iron oxide, are transported to the crusher.

The crusher reduces rocks to a diameter of an average of 10cm. In the crusher, raw materials are mixed with mineral components. The exact proportions are controlled through an analyzer , which is installed  on the transport line towards the pre-homogenization storage.

Raw material is transported from the quarry using conveyors.
